Len's Coffee is a trademarked brand that operates a business-to-consumer mail order site www.LensCoffee.com. Our commercial business operates under this name and also Fanega Coffee, an OEM identity that we adopted for commercial customers who want to feature their own brand but not necessarily under their DBA name. ln our commercial segment we draw from existing coffee origins and blends produced for our current consumer and HORECA customers, but we also design custom coffees to meet our customers' needs. If a Southwestern cuisine celebrity restaurant chef asks us to develop a Mexican Espresso, we do. In fact, many of the creations offered on the Len's Coffee consumer website were originally designed for commercial customers.
Len's Coffee has been the only coffee source online for all four of the major species of coffee (Arabica, Robusta, Liberica and Excelsa) for 20 years, and has developed its own unique intellectual property such as “Harlequin” (multi-temperature roasts), Saigon Blends true Vietnamese style coffee fresh-roasted in the USA, and JAZ Improv conceptual explorations. Prior to launching a coffee website, Len Brault spent 20 years as a Senior Art Director/Marketer in his own design and marketing firm. The hospitality sector was one of the agency's specialties, and over the years many clients such as Odyssey Hotels, Howard Johnson's Plaza Hotel Group, and Marriott properties engaged the company for assistance in creating or re-theming restaurants. It was a natural evolution for Len's Coffee to also specialize in menu and business development in the hospitality sector. We excel in helping restaurants create new or enhanced revenue streams from unique coffees and coffee-themed offerings, including recipes for entrees, desserts, alcoholic drinks, and specialty regional-themes offerings like Vietnamese egg coffee, martinis, granitas and importantly, a full line of offerings using what we feel are the world's best decaf coffees and espressos to exploit an under-served market of customers at dinnertime and beyond who would enjoy coffee offerings... but only if they are caffeine-free and of the same taste and quality as regular coffee counterparts. The company is not elitist in its approach, it is customer-driven. Extensive research and experience over the years has helped us build our own database of what coffee consumers seek, enjoy, and will buy. And we believe the very definition of “hospitality” in the HORECA market is to delight customers (our customers, your customers) with what they enjoy, can appreciate, and to exceed their expectations during their coffee-themed experience. Specialty coffee is a mostly unexplored revenue add-on and enhancer for restaurants. It can make a startling difference in profitability for a small expense in design and implementation.
